Don’t get over-anxious,
When you’re tackling something new;
Maintain a laser-focus,
And commit to follow through.
Though you may get distracted,
By cars passing left or right;
Just honor your commitment,
Maintain your lofty flight.
Persistence is your ally,
He will never take a break;
He understands your future,
And the path you have to take.
Sometimes you’ll feel the doldrums,
That affect your changing mood;
You’ll have to work through hardships,
That impact your attitude.
You have to be consistent,
On those tasks you must complete;
To keep you in the game,
And allow you to compete.
It’s your enthusiasm,
That empowers your human soul;
And activates potential,
As you strive to reach your goal.
